Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations(Chapter 374)

 Restricted Zone on Ma Tau Pa Road, Tsuen Wan

      In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 25 September 2015, the southern kerbside lane of Ma Tau Pa Road westbound from a point about 38 metres west of its junction with Yeung Uk Road to a point about 68 metres west of the same junction will be designated a restricted zone 24 hours daily.

      Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

      (a) picking up or setting down passengers; or

      (b) loading or unloading goods.

      The extent of the restricted zone will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.  At the same time, the existing restricted zone on the above road section will be rescinded.
