Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations(Chapter 374)
In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 27 November 2015 to 9.30 am on 30 November 2015, the following sections will be temporarily designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:
a) the southern kerbside lane of Mei Wan Street from a point about 250 metres west of its junction with Sai Lau Kok Road to a point about 370 metres west of the same junction; and
b) the northern kerbside lane of Mei Wan Street from a point about 160 metres east of its junction with Tsuen King Circuit to a point about 300 metres east of the same junction.
Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses at designated bus stops and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:
(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
(b) loading or unloading goods.
The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings. At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road section will be temporarily rescinded.
