Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations(Chapter 374)

Temporary Restricted Zones on Yau Ma Hom Road, Tsuen Wan

      In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 28 July 2016 to 6.00 pm on 31 August 2016, both kerbside lanes of  Yau Ma Hom Road from a point about 125 metres east of its junction with Fu Uk Road to a point about 165 metres east of the same junction will be temporarily designated restricted zones 24 hours daily.

      Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses at designated bus stops and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

      (a) picking up or setting down passengers; or

      (b) loading or unloading goods.

      The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.
