Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations(Chapter 374) 

Restricted Zones in  Lung Tak Street  and Texaco Road, Tsuen Wan 

      In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 2.00 pm on 8 October 2016, the following road sections in Tsuen Wan will be designated restricted zones 24 hours daily:

      (a) The northern kerbside lane of Texaco Road from its junction with Lung Tak Street to a point about 50 meters east of the same junction; and

      (b) The eastern kerbside lane of Lung Tak Street from its junction with Texaco Road to a point about 20 meters north of the same junction.

      Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses at designated bus stops and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

      (a) picking up or setting down passengers; or

      (b) loading or unloading goods.

      The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

      At the same time, the existing restricted zone on the above road section will be rescinded.
