Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations(Chapter 374)
In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that the following road sections in Tsuen Wan will be temporarily designated restricted zones 24 hours daily:
(a) the western kerbside lane of Chung On Street from its junction with Shiu Wo Street to a point about 45 meters north of the same junction from 10.00am on 3 March 2017 to 9.00am on 18 March 2017;
(b) the eastern kerbside lane of Chung On Street from its junction with Castle Peak Road - Tsuen Wan to a point about 40 meters south of the same junction from 10.00am on 3 March 2017 to 9.00am on 18 March 2017;
(c) the western kerbside lane of Chung On Street from its junction with Shiu Wo Street to a point about 50 meters south of the same junction from 10.00am on 20 March 2017 to 9.00am on 8 April 2017; and
(d) the eastern kerbside lane of Chung On Street from its junction with Shiu Wo Street to a point about 45 meters south of the same junction from 10.00am on 20 March 2017 to 9.00am on 8 April 2017.
Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses at designated bus stops and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:
(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
(b) loading or unloading goods.
The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.
