TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT NOTICE

Extension of Temporary Closures of Road D1A (S) and Lin Cheung Road, Yau Ma Tei

        Notice is hereby given that in connection with the construction of Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will continue to be implemented until 31 March 2018:

(A) Road Closure

(i) The unnamed access road leading from Lin Cheung Road (northbound) to Station Perimeter Road (near MTR Kowloon Station Cross Boundary Coach Terminus) will continue to be closed to all vehicular traffic.

(ii) The section of Road D1A(S) (northbound) between Wui Man Road and Jordan Road will continue to be closed to all vehicular traffic.

(B) Traffic Diversion

(i) Vehicles from Austin Road West (westbound) heading for Station Perimeter Road will be diverted to travel via Austin Road West (westbound), Austin Road West Underpass (westbound), Austin Road West (westbound), roundabout, Nga Cheung Road (northbound), roundabout, Nga Cheung Road (southbound) and Station Perimeter Road.

(ii) Vehicles from Canton Road (northbound) heading for Jordan Road (westbound) will be diverted to travel via Canton Road (northbound), Austin Road West (westbound), Austin Road West Underpass (westbound), Austin Road West (westbound), roundabout, Nga Cheung Road (northbound) and Jordan Road (westbound).

(iii) Vehicles from Canton Road (northbound) heading for Lin Cheung Road (northbound) will be diverted to travel via Canton Road (northbound), Austin Road West (westbound), Austin Road West Underpass (westbound), Austin Road West (westbound), roundabout, Nga Cheung Road (northbound), Jordan Road (eastbound) and Lin Cheung Road (northbound).

(C) Public Transport Arrangement

Cross Harbour Routes 914 and 914X on Ferry Street (southbound) heading for Hong Kong Island will continue to be diverted to travel via Jordan Road (eastbound), Canton Road (northbound), Kansu Street (westbound), Yan Cheung Road (westbound), Hoi Wang Road (northbound), slip road and West Kowloon Highway (southbound) before resuming their original routings.

        Appropriate traffic signs have been erected on site to guide motorists.
