Restricted Zones in Pak Tin Par Street and Tai Chung Road, Tsuen Wan

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 a.m. on 13 October 2017, the following road sections in Tsuen Wan will be designated restricted zones 24 hours daily:

(a) Both kerbside lanes of Pak Tin Par Street from its junction with the slip road of Tai Chung Road to a point about 15 metres west of the same junction;

(b) The western kerbside lane of the slip road of Tai Chung Road from a point about 25 metres south of its junction with Pak Tin Par Street to a point about 10 metres north of the same junction;

(c) The eastern kerbside lane of the slip road of Tai Chung Road from a point about 25 metres south of its junction with Pak Tin Par Street to a point about 15 metres north of the same junction; and

(d) Both kerbside lanes of the slip road leading from Pak Tin Par Street to Tai Chung Road.

        Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or

(b) loading or unloading goods.

        The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

        At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
