TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT NOTICE

Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements in Tsim Sha Tsui

        Members of the public are advised that to facilitate road improvement work near West Kowloon Station of the Hong Kong Section of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented from 1.00 a.m. to 5.00 a.m. daily from 18 to 19 April 2018:

Road closures

The following roads will be closed to all vehicular traffic:-

(a) The slip road leading from Lin Cheung Road southbound to Jordon Road; and

(b) The slip road leading from Western Kowloon Highway southbound to Lin Cheung Road.

Traffic diversions

(a) Vehicles from Lin Cheung Road southbound heading for Tsim Sha Tsui will be diverted to travel via Nga Cheung Road southbound (elevated section), Austin Road West eastbound, Austin Road West underpass eastbound, Austin Road West eastbound and Canton Road southbound; and

(b) Vehicles from West Kowloon Highway southbound heading for Airport Express Station and Tsim Sha Tsui will be diverted to travel via Lai Cheung Road eastbound and Ferry Street southbound.

Bus diversions

CTB routes N11 and N23 from West Kowloon Highway southbound heading for Hong Kong Island and Kowloon East will be diverted to travel via Lai Cheung Road eastbound and Ferry Street southbound before resuming their normal routeings on Jordan Road eastbound;

Bus stop arrangement

The bus stop of CTB routes N11 and N23 on Jordan Road opposite to MTR Austin Station will be relocated to Ferry Street opposite to Man Wah Building.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. The bus companies will display notices to advise passengers of the above temporary arrangement.
