TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT NOTICE
Temporary Traffic Arrangements on Gascoigne Road Flyover, Yau Ma Tei


        Notice is hereby given that to facilitate construction works of Central Kowloon Route, the following temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented in Yau Ma Tei from 1 March 2024 to 31 May 2024:-


(A)    Traffic Arrangements


I.      Road Closure

The following road sections will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic:-

(i)     The section of Gascoigne Road Flyover westbound between Public Square Street and Temple Street; and

(ii)    The slip road of Gascoigne Road Flyover westbound near Yau Ma Tei Market.

II.     Traffic Diversions

(i)     Affected vehicles on Chatham Road South westbound heading to Hau Cheung Street will be temporarily diverted via Gascoigne Road westbound, Nathan Road northbound, Man Ming Lane westbound, Portland Street northbound and Waterloo Road westbound; and

(ii)    Affected vehicles on Gascoigne Road Flyover westbound heading to Yau Ma Tei will be diverted via Ferry Street northbound, Cherry Street westbound, Hoi Wan Road southbound and Lai Cheung Road eastbound.


        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.
