TRAFFIC ADVICE
Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on Kai Cheung Road, Kowloon Bay
Members of the public are advised that to facilitate the road works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented on Kai Cheung Road from 10.00 pm to 5.00 am next day daily on 28, 29 and 30 March 2024:-
(A) Road Closure
The slip road leading from Kai Cheung Road eastbound to Wai Yip Street southbound will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.
(B) Traffic Diversion
(i) Affected vehicles on Kai Cheung Road eastbound heading to Telford Plaza via Wai Yip Street southbound will be diverted via Kai Cheung Road eastbound, Ngau Tau Kok Road southbound, Chun Wah Road eastbound, Choi Ha Road northbound, Jordan Valley North Road westbound, Ngau Tau Kok Road northbound, Kai Cheung Road Flyover westbound, Kai Cheung Road westbound, Wang Chiu Road southbound, Sheung Yee Road eastbound and Wai Yip Street northbound; and
(ii) Affected vehicles on Kai Cheung Road eastbound heading to Wai Yip Street southbound will be diverted via Kai Cheung Road eastbound, Wai Yip Street northbound, Kwun Tong Road westbound, Lung Cheung Road westbound, roundabout, Choi Hung Road westbound, Hammer Hill Road northbound, roundabout, Hammer Hill Road southbound, Lung Cheung Road eastbound, Kwun Tong Road eastbound and Wai Yip Street southbound.
(C) Public Transport Arrangement
Kowloon GMB Route No. 51M (To Telford Plaza) will be diverted via Wang Chiu Road southbound, Sheung Yee Road eastbound, Wai Yip Street northbound and estate access road of Telford Plaza.
Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. The public transport operators will display notices to advise passengers of the above temporary arrangements in advance.
