Transport Services to/from Tung Chung Cable Car Terminal

(5)  MTR Service

Visitors can travel to Tung Chung via the MTR Tung Chung Line (TCL).

* Applicable for senior citizens (aged 65 or above), children (aged 3-11) and eligible students.

(6)  Franchised Bus Service

Visitors can use the following 18 bus routes to travel to/ from Tung Chung Cable CarTerminal :

Note:
Visitors from Urban/ New Territories taking the above franchised bus services (except bus route E31) to Tung Chung Cable Car Terminal can alight at the bus stop on Shun Tung Road opposite to Tung Chung Crescent. Bus route E31 passengers can alight at the bus stop on Tat Tung Road.

(7)  Taxi Service

Urban taxis and Lantau taxis can provide taxi services at Tung Chung Cable Car Terminal. The 2 types of taxis have different operating areas and charge fares at different rates. Taxi fare tables are displayed inside the taxis.

  (i)      First 2 kilometres or any part thereof 

  (ii)      Every subsequent 200 metres or part thereof / every period of 1 minute waiting time or part thereof         

  (iia)    For meter fare below $70.5

  (iib)    For meter fare of $70.5 and above

  (2a)    For meter fare below $130 
  (2b)    For meter fare of $130 and above

(8)  Non-franchised Bus Service

Non-franchised bus operators can provide services to/ from Tung Chung Cable Car Terminal in accordance with the laws and the conditions of their Passenger Service Licences. The non-franchised bus deployed for provision of service should have a valid Passenger Service Licence Certificate and related service endorsement issued by Transport Department. Non-franchised bus operators should make prior arrangements with Ngong Ping 360 Ltd. for using the coach drop off & pick up/ parking area of the Tung Chung Cable Car Terminal.

Visitors are advised to use public transport to go to Tung Chung / Ngong Ping Cable Car Terminal and please pay attention to announcements on the latest traffic and transport arrangement by the Police, Transport Department and other relevant authorities.
