How to identify authorised cross-boundary hire car

Passengers can identify cross-boundary hire car authorised by the Hong Kong and Guangdong governments or Hong Kong and Macau goverments,  by label displayed on the front windscreen and the rear of the vehicle respectively. The labels shall bear the wording "Cross Boundary Hire Car" in both Chinese and English together with a serial number designated to the vehicle for identification.

How to use authorised cross-boundary hire car service

1. Passengers who intend to use cross-boundary hire car services for travelling between Mainland China and Hong Kong or Macau and Hong Kong. Please check the list of authorised hire car operators on Transport Department's website and make appointment with the opeartor concerned accordingly.

2. Please check if the cross-boundary hire car in use bears all the identification labels to ensure the service is authorised by the Hong Kong and Guangdong governments or Hong Kong and Macau governments.
