Traffic Advice
Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on Tsueng Kwan O Road, Kwun Tong
Members of public are advised that the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented on 17, 24 and 31 August and 7 September 2008 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily to facilitate the road works on the slip road connecting Tseung Kwan O Road northbound and Sau Mau Ping Road:-
Traffic Arrangements
1) The slip road connecting Tseung Kwan O Road northbound and Sau Mau Ping Road will be temporarily closed.
2) Vehicles exceeding 11 metres in length may be diverted via Tseung Kwan O Road northbound, slip road leading to Lin Tak Road, Lin Tak Road southbound, Tak Tin Street westbound, roundabout (near Kai Tin Road), Tak Tin Street eastbound, Lin Tak Road northbound and then Sau Mau Ping Road.
3) For other vehicles, they may be diverted via Tseung Kwan O Road northbound, slip road leading to Lin Tak Road, Lin Tak Road southbound, roundabout (near Pik Wan Road), Lin Tak Road northbound and then Sau Mau Ping Road.
Transport Arrangements
1) Kowloon GMB route nos. 71A (Po Tat bound), 71B (Sau Mau Ping bound), New Territories GMB route nos.13 (Hong Sing Garden bound) and 111(Po Lam Bound) will be diverted via Tseung Kwan O Road northbound, slip road leading to Lin Tak Road, Lin Tak Road southbound, roundabout (near Pik Wan Road), Lin Tak Road northbound and Sau Mau Ping Road.
2) Kowloon GMB route no. 76B (United Christian Hospital bound) will be diverted via Kai Tin Road northbound, Tak Tin Street, Lin Tak Road and then Sau Mau Ping Road.
3) KMB route nos. 93K and 98A (Tseung Kwan O bound) will be diverted via Lei Yue Mun Road eastbound, Kai Tin Road, Tak Tin Street, Lin Tak Road and then Sau Mau Ping Road. Their bus stop at Tseung Kwan O Road northbound outside Kwun Tong Recreation Ground will be temporarily suspended. Passengers may take these routes at the existing bus stop at Lei Yue Mun Road eastbound outside Kwun Tong Recreation Ground.
4) KMB route no. 98C (Tseung Kwan O bound) will be diverted via Kwun Tong Bypass, Lei Yue Mun Road, Kai Tin Road, Tak Tin Street, Lin Tak Road and then Sau Mau Ping Road.
Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. Notice will be displayed at the concerned GMB and bus stops to notify passengers of the temporary public transport arrangements.
