Extension of Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements in Sham Shui Po

For Construction Works of Cheung Lai Street Pedestrian Subway

               To facilitate the construction works of Cheung Lai Street pedestrian subway, temporary traffic and transport arrangements will continue to be implemented in Sham Shui Po with details as follows:-

From 0.01 a.m. on 30 August 2008 to 28 February 2009:-

             The section of Cheung Lai Street between Cheung Yee Street and Cheung Shun Street will continue to be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.

-           The right-turn movement for all vehicles from Cheung Yee Street onto Cheung Lai Street northbound will continue to be temporarily banned.

-            Affected vehicles on Cheung Yee Street heading for Cheung Sha Wan Road westbound via Cheung Lai Street northbound will continue to be temporarily diverted via Cheung Yee Street, Cheung Mou Street and Cheung Shun Street onto Cheung Lai Street northbound.

-            Temporary route diversion via Cheung Yee Street, Cheung Mou Street and Cheung Shun Street will continue to be required for KMB route 30 (Allway Gardens bound), KMB route 32 (Shek Wai Kok bound) and Kowloon Green Minibus route 44A (Lai Chi Kok (Cheung Shun Street) bound).

               Appropriate traffic signs have been put up on site to guide motorists.
