Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements in Kowloon Bay

Members of the public are advised that the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will continue to be implemented until further notice to improve the traffic condition in Lam Fung Street and vicinity areas:

(I)     From 3:00 p.m. on Friday to 11:00 p.m. on Sunday every week and from 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m. on public holidays

Temporary Traffic Arrangements

1.      The section of Lam Fung Street between its junction with Sheung Yee Road and the exit of Mega Box will be converted from one-way eastbound traffic to two-ways traffic.  All vehicles on Lam Fung Street coming from the exit of Mega Box will be diverted to turn left onto Sheung Yee Road southbound; and

2.       All vehicles on Sheung Yee Road northbound will be prohibited from turning right onto Lam Fung Street.

Temporary GMB Diversion and Stop Arrangements

1.   Kowloon GMB Route 48 (Shun Lee bound), GMB Route 68 (Choi Wan Estate bound) and New Territories GMB Route 106 (Po Lam bound) on Lam Fung Street coming from the exit of Mega Box will be diverted to turn left onto Sheung Yee Road southbound, Sheung Yee Road eastbound and then resume their normal routeing. 

2.   The en-route stop for New Territories GMB Route 106 (Po Lam bound) at Sheung Yee Road southbound will also be temporarily suspended; and

3.   GMB Route 68 (Kowloon Bay bound) and New Territories GMB Route 106 (Kowloon Bay bound) will be diverted via Sheung Yee Road northbound, Sheung Yuet Road eastbound and then resume their normal routeing.  Temporary GMB drop off point will be provided at Sheung Yee Road northbound opposite Mega Box.

(II)  From 12.00 noon to 11.00 p.m. on every Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays

Temporary Bus Stop Arrangements

The following temporary bus stop arrangements will be implemented until further notice:

Appropriate traffic aids will be provided on site to guide motorists and notices will be displayed by the concerned bus companies and GMB operators to advise passengers of the above changes.  Motorists are also advised to follow the instruction of Police officers on site.
