Pedestrian Schemes for Stanley

Stanley Market is an extravaganza of stalls and shops. Together with the pubs and restaurants in Stanley Main Street, it attracts a lot of tourists as well as locals on weekends. In order to improve the environment and safety for pedestrians, Transport Department has already implemented the following pedestrian scheme in the crowded parts of Stanley:

Part-time Pedestrian Street

The operating hours of the part-time pedestrian streets in Stanley have been revised since August 2003 as follows:

	Stanley Main Street: the part-time pedestrian street operates from 7.00pm to 11.00pm on Fridays; 11.00am to 11.00pm on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.
	Stanley Market Road: the part-time pedestrian street operates from 7.00 pm to 11.00 pm on Saturdays and 11.00 am to 6.00 pm on Sundays and Public Holidays.
	Stanley New Street: the part-time pedestrian street operates from 11.00 am to 6.00 pm on Sundays and Public Holidays.
