With effect from 6 November 2013, eligible applicants can apply for a repeater early test appointment on a "first-come-first-served basis" through the internet or by telephone (2866 8148).
The repeater early test slots available for reservation will be updated every day at 6:30 a.m. - 7:29 a.m., during which the online and telephone booking services for repeater early test appointment will be suspended. All relevant services will resume normal at 7:30 a.m..

From 30 May 2022 onwards, candidates who access the Repeater Early Test Appointment Online Booking Service to make reservation of repeater early test appointment must first authenticate their personal identity by using "iAM Smart" or a valid e-Cert (Personal).
Identity Authentication by "iAM Smart" for Repeater Early Test Appointment Online Booking Service
For candidates not possessing "iAM Smart" account or a valid e-Cert (Personal), they may continue making reservation by telephone (2866 8148) via the Interactive Voice Response System of the RETAS. Although possession of "iAM Smart" or a valid e-Cert (Personal) is not required for reservation by telephone, all reservations must still be made by inputting personal information. For detailed steps of application by telephone, please refer to "Repeater Early Test Appointment Booking Service Telephone User Guide" as attached in "Introduction".
There is scheduled maintenance for the Repeater Early Test Appointment Booking System. The time for service suspension and resumption will be announced in advance through the booking service webpage and telephone booking system; during the maintenance period, applicants will be notified of the resumption time again. Applicants are advised to pay attention to the relevant notice.
In the event of emergent system failure, the Transport Department may not be able to issue the maintenance notice (including the estimated service resumption time) via the booking service webpage and telephone booking system. Applicants are advised to watch out for the progress of maintenance through the booking service webpage and telephone booking system.
As mentioned in "Introduction", there is regular system update of repeater early test slots available for reservation scheduled once per day. If the scheduled or emergency maintenance of the system is conducted during the period when the test slots are updated, the scheduled updating operation will be affected. Under normal circumstances, the vacant test slots will be updated immediately upon the service resumption. Applicants are advised to pay attention to the available test slots.
