The Transport Department is providing fee waivers to residents of Wang Fuk Court in respect of the duplicate and renewal of driving licences and vehicle licences, as well as services such as the vehicle examination conducted by the Transport Department for commercial vehicles required for licence renewal. Details are as follows:

(I) Services and Fees Covered

(1) Fees for Duplicates of Specified Licences, Permits or Documents

Including duplicates of vehicle registration document, various driving licences and vehicle licences, certificate of allocation of personalised registration mark, long load permit, wide load permit, movement permit, excess passengers permit, expressway permit, advertising vehicle permit, closed road permit, passenger service licence, passenger service licence certificate, hire car permit, fleet taxi certificate, and other documents related to public vehicles

(2) Fees for Renewal of Specified Licences or Permits

Including various driving licences and vehicle licences, permits specified in item (1) above, passenger service licence, passenger service licence certificate, hire car permit, vehicle permit or permission in writing (goods vehicle)

(3) Vehicle Examination Fees for Licence Renewal of Specified Vehicles

Including taxis, trailers, goods vehicles, light buses and single-decked buses

(4) Fees Arising from the Postponement of Driving Tests

Relevant fees for the repurchase of driving test forms and/or application for learner's driving licences for the new written tests/road test appointments arising from the postponement of driving tests

(5) Transfer of Vehicle Ownership Fees

Applicable only to cases involving the transfer of vehicle ownership from a deceased fire victim to the estate beneficiary
