Public Transport Arrangements in Sham Shui Po and Yau Tsim Mong Districts
for the opening of MTR Kowloon Southern Link

             Members of the public are advised that in connection with the opening of MTR Kowloon Southern Link, the following public transport arrangements in Sham Shui Po and Yau Tsim Mong District will be implemented with effect from 16 August 2009.

KMB Route No. 12 (Hoi Lai Estate - East Tsim Sha Tsui Station (Salisbury Road) (circular))

(a) The terminus of KMB Route No. 12 in Sham Shui Po (Tonkin Street) will be relocated to Sham Mong Road outside Hoi Lai Estate. At the same time, its routeing will be revised as below:

            Sham Mong Road, Sham Shing Road, Hing Wah Street West, Sham Mong Road, Cherry Street, Tai Kok Tsui Road, unnamed road, Hoi Wang Road, Lai Cheung Road, Ferry Street, Canton Road, Salisbury Road, u-turn slip road near Chatham Road South, Salisbury Road, Kowloon Park Drive, Canton Road, Ferry Street, Yan Cheung Road, Hoi Wang Road, Cherry Street, Hoi King Street, Pok Man Street and Sham Mong Road.

(b) The following bus stops of KMB Route No. 12 will be added and cancelled accordingly:

Bus stops to be added:
1. Sham Shing Road outside Banyan Garden
2. Sham Mong Road opposite to Tonkin Street Bus Terminus
3. Sham Mong Road outside Metro Harbourview
4. Sham Mong Road near Chung Wui Street
5. Sham Mong Road outside Olympic Station
6. Salisbury Road outside East Tsim Sha Tsui Station
7. Pok Man Street outside HSBC Centre
8. Sham Mong Road outside Harbour Green
9. Sham Mong Road outside Nam Cheong Park
10. Sham Mong Road near Fat Tseung Street West

Bus stops to be cancelled:
1. Yen Chow Street West opposite to Nam Cheong Estate
2. Yen Chow Street outside House No. 19
3. Lai Chi Kok Road outside House No. 320
4. Nam Cheong Street outside House No. 30
5. Tai Kok Tsui Road opposite to House No. 181
6. Tai Kok Tsui Road near New Kowloon Plaza
7. Olympic Station Bus Terminus
8. Tai Kok Tsui Road outside House No. 17
9. Tai Kok Tsui Road outside House No. 121
10. Tai Kok Tsui Road outside House No. 175
11. Hai Tan Street outside House No. 159
12. Hai Tan Street outside House No. 195
13. Yen Chow Street outside Tung Chau Street Park

Kowloon GMB Routes No. 77M (Kowloon Station - Tsim Sha Tsui East (circular)) and 78 (Tai Kok Tsui (Island Harbourview) - Tsim Sha Tsui (Peking Road)(circular))

(a) Kowloon GMB Route No. 77M on its journey to Kowloon Station will be diverted via Canton Road, Wui Cheung Road, Wui Man Road,  Austin Road West, Lin Cheung Road and then resume its original routeing.
(b) Kowloon GMB Route No. 78 on its journey to Tai Kok Tsui will be diverted via Canton Road, Wui Cheung Road, Wui Man Road, Austin Road West, Canton Road, Ferry Street and then resume its original routeing.
(c) An enroute stop of the above routes will be added on Wui Man Road outside MTR Austin Station.

             Notices will be displayed by public transport operators to advise passengers of the above arrangements.
