ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS
(Chapter 374)
Restricted Zones in Sham Shui Po
In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 18 June 2010, the following road sections in Sham Shui Po will be designated restricted zones 24 hours daily:-
(a) the northern kerbside lane of Sham Shing Road from its junction with Hing Wah Street West to a point about 90 metres west of the same junction; and
(b) the western kerbside lane of Hing Wah Street West from its junction with Sham Shing Road to a point about 30 metres north of the same junction.
Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:
(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
(b) loading or unloading goods.
The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.
At the same time, the existing restricted zone from 7.00 am to 12.00 midnight daily on the above road sections will be rescinded.
