Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements for the Closure of Slip Road

at North West Tsing Yi Interchange

          Notice is hereby given that in order to facilitate the installation of movement joint anti-skidding material on the slip road leading from North West Tsing Yi Interchange south bound to Tsing Yi Administration Building, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented from 1.00 am on 4 September 2011 (Sunday) to 5.00 am on 5 September 2011 (Monday).

          A.     Road Closure

The slip road leading from North West Tsing Yi Interchange south bound to Tsing Yi Administration Building will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.

           B.     Temporary Traffic Arrangements

          (I)        Motorists on North West Tsing Yi Interchange south bound heading for Tsing Yi Administration Building, Lantau Link Visitors' Centre or Tuen Mun / Yuen Long are advised to travel via Cheung Tsing Highway south bound, Tsing Yi Road West north bound, Fung Shue Wo Road north bound, Tam Kon Shan Interchange, Fung Shue Wo Road south bound, Tsing Yi Road West south bound, Cheung Tsing Highway north bound and North West Tsing Yi Interchange north bound;

          (II)       Motorists on Tsing Tsuen Road west bound or Tam Kon Shan Interchange heading for Tsing Yi Administration Building, Lantau Link Visitors' Centre or Tuen Mun / Yuen Long are advised to travel via Tam Kon Shan Interchange, Fung Shue Wo Road south bound, Tsing Yi Road West south bound, Cheung Tsing Highway north bound and North West Tsing Yi Interchange north bound; and

          (III)        Motorists on North West Tsing Yi Interchange near Lantau Link Visitors' Centre heading for Tsing Yi Administration Building or Tuen Mun / Yuen Long are advised to travel via Tsing Yi North Coastal Road east bound, Tam Kon Shan Interchange, Fung Shue Wo Road south bound, Tsing Yi Road West south bound, Cheung Tsing Highway north bound and North West Tsing Yi Interchange north bound.

          C.     Temporary Transport Arrangements

           Temporary Diversions of Green Mini-bus (GMB) services

          (a) Special departure of GMB route no. 308M via Lantau Link Visitors' Centre (to Sea Crest Villa, Sham Tseng) will be diverted to operate via Tsing Yi North Coastal Road east bound, Tam Kon Shan Interchange, Fung Shue Wo Road south bound, Tsing Yi Road West south bound, Cheung Tsing Highway north bound and North West Tsing Yi Interchange before resuming its normal routeing.

          (b) Special departure of GMB route no. 308M via Lantau Link Visitors' Centre (to Tsing Yi Station) will be diverted to operate via Cheung Tsing Highway south bound, Tsing Yi Road West north bound, Fung Shue Wo Road north bound, Tam Kon Shan Interchange, Fung Shue Wo Road south bound, Tsing Yi Road West south bound, Cheung Tsing Highway north bound, North West Tsing Yi Interchange, Lantau Link Visitors' Centre, and Tsing Yi North Coastal Road east bound before resuming its normal routeing.

          Motorists are advised to drive with care and patience when approaching the above road sections. Appropriate traffic signs will be provided on site to guide motorists. Notices will be displayed by public transport operators to advise passengers of the above arrangements.
