Introduction of CTB Route No. A29 and Service Rationalization of CTB Route Nos. E22A, E22B and E22P
Members of the public are advised that a new CTB Route No. A29 will be introduced on 25 September 2011. In addition, the services of CTB Route Nos. E22A, E22B and E22P will be rationalized on the same day. Operating details of the above routes will be as follows:
CTB Route No. A29 (Tseung Kwan O (Po Lam Public Transport Interchange) – Airport (Ground Transportation Centre)
(i) The operating period of this new bus route will be from 5.15 am to 9.15 pm for Airport bound service and from 8.40 am to 12.10 am for Po Lam bound service. The headway will be 30 minutes.
(ii) Full fare of $42.0 per singly journey with the following section fares will be offered:
a) For Airport (Ground Transportation Centre) bound service
- after Tseung Kwan O Tunnel: $39.0
- from Lantau Link Toll Plaza: $17.0
- from Airport (Terminal 1): $4.0
b) For Tseung Kwan O (Po Lam Public Transportation Interchange) bound service
- from Lantau Link Toll Plaza: $29.0
- after Lantau Link: $13.0
- from Lung Cheung Road outside Lung Cheung Plaza: $10.0
- after Tseung Kwan O Tunnel: $6.5
(iii) Same day return concessionary fare and bus-bus interchange discount will be offered for passengers using Octopus cards. In addition, concessionary fare for pre-paid round-trip ticket will be offered by Citybus.
CTB Route No. E22A (Tseung Kwan O (Hong Sing Garden) –Asia World-Expo)
(i) The existing terminal point at Po Lam Public Transport Interchange will be relocated to Hong Sing Garden Bus Terminus on 25 September 2011. The routeing in Tseung Kwan O area will be also amended.
(ii) The terminus inside Po Lam Public Transport Interchange and en-route stops on Po Lam Road North near Po Lam Estate, Ying Ming Court and Yan Ming Court will be cancelled due to the above amendments.
(iii) Affected passengers can take CTB Route No. E22A at the en-route stops on Po Fung Road and Yan King Road to Asia World-Expo.
CTB Route No. E22B (Tseung Kwan O (Po Lam Public Transport Interchange) – Asia World-Expo)
The route will be cancelled on 26 September 2011.
CTB Route No. E22P (Yau Tong Temporary Bus Terminus –Asia World-Expo)
(i) The routeing will be revised and travel via the area of Sau Mau Ping and Shun Lee to / from Asia World Expo with effect from 26 September 2011.
(ii) The en-route stops on Tak Tin Street, Kai Tin Road, Lei Yue Mun Road, Wai Fat Road, Wai Yip Street, Cha Kwo Ling Road and Kwun Tong Road will be cancelled due to the above amendment.
(iii) Affected passengers can take CTB Route No. E22 from / to Asia World-Expo.
CTB will display notices at all the relevant bus stops to inform passengers of the details.
