Re-routeing of NWFB Route Nos. 18, 43X and 720A
Members of the public are advised that NWFB route Nos. 18 (North Point (Healthy Street Central) – Kennedy Town (Belcher Bay Temporary Bus Terminus)), 43X (Wah Kwai Estate – Wan Chai (Harbour Road) (Circular)) and 720A (Sai Wan Ho (Grand Promenade) Public Transport Terminus – Admiralty (Circular)) will be re-routed with effect from 17 October 2011 (Monday). Details are as follows:
(a) Re-Routeing of Bus Services
The North Point bound service of NWFB 18 will be re-routed via Harcourt Road, Tim Mei Avenue, Lung Wui Road, Fenwick Pier Street, Harbour Road and Fleming Road, before resuming its original routeing;
The Wan Chai bound service of NWFB 43X daily after 9.10 am will be re-routed via Harcourt Road, Tim Mei Avenue, Lung Wui Road, Fenwick Pier Street, Harbour Road, Fleming Road, Convention Avenue and Fenwick Pier Street, before resuming its original routeing; and
NWFB 720A will be re-routed via Harcourt Road westbound, u-turn, Harcourt Road eastbound, Tim Mei Avenue, Harcourt Road, Performing Arts Avenue and Gloucester Road, before resuming its original routeing.
(b) Cancellation of Bus Stops
The bus stops at the following locations will be cancelled:-
NWFB 18
(i) Bus stop on Gloucester Road outside The Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts; and
(ii) Bus stop on Gloucester Road outside Immigration Tower.
NWFB 43X
(i) Bus stop on Gloucester Road outside Academy of Performing Arts.
NWFB 720A
(i) Bus stop on Queensway outside Admiralty Garden; and
(ii) Bus stop on Lockhart Road outside Golden Star Building.
(c) Additional of Bus Stops
Bus stops will be provided at the following locations:-
NWFB 18
(i) Lung Wui Road opposite to Citic Tower; and
(ii) Harbour Road outside Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
NWFB 43X
(i) Lung Wui Road opposite to Citic Tower; and
(ii) Harbour Road outside Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
NWFB 720A
(i) Tim Mei Avenue outside Citic Tower; and
Appropriate notices will be posted by the bus company at the bus stops and inside vehicles to inform the passengers of the above arrangements.
