Members of the public are advised that in order to facilitate the holding of running competition, the section of cycle track along the western riverside of Shing Mun River Channel between the Twin Bridge (located near Sha Tin Sewage Treatment Works) and Sha Tin Rowing Centre will be temporarily closed from 9.00 am to 11.00 am on 29 January 2012 (Sunday).
During the closure of the cycle track, cyclists are required to dismount upon entering / leaving the abovementioned cycle track. Cyclists may also use the cycle track along the Banyan Bridge, Tai Chung Kiu Road and Twin Bridge to travel between Tai Po and Sha Tin.
Appropriate traffic signs will be provided on site to guide the cyclists and pedestrians. Actual implementation of and adjustments to cycle track closure and traffic control will be made by the Police at the time depending on conditions in the area.
