Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements
for Blasting Works in Ap Lei Chau

               Members of the public are advised that to facilitate the blasting works in Ap Lei Chau for the construction of MTRCL South Island Line (East), the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented for about 5 minutes between 12.30 p.m. and 1.30 p.m. daily from 4 to 9 June 2012:

A. Road Closures
1. the section of Lee Nam Road between Hong Kong School of Motoring and Horizon Plaza; and
2. the section of Lee Wing Street from its junction with Lee Nam Road to a point about 35 metres north of the same junction.

B. Public Transport Arrangements
Bus services travelling on Lee Nam Road, including XHT Route 671 and NWFB Route 95 may be interrupted during the closure of Lee Nam Road.

               Appropriate traffic signs will be provided on site to guide motorists. Traffic delay is expected during the implementation of the above temporary traffic and transport arrangements. Motorists are advised to drive with utmost care and patience. Bus companies will display notices to advise passengers of the above arrangements. Members of the public are advised to plan their journey early and allow more travelling time.
