Temporary Traffic Arrangements for

Trail Run of Emergency TTA Scheme on Castle Peak Road, Tsuen Wan 

          Motorists are advised that to facilitate the holding of Trial Run for Emergency TTA Scheme on Castle Peak Road associated with drainage works, the following temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented in Tsuen Wan on 1 August 2012 between 2.00 pm and 5.00 pm:

Traffic Arrangements

(1) The following road sections will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic:

(i) the fast lane of Hoi On Road westbound near Bayview Garden;

(ii) the fast lane of Castle Peak Road eastbound near Long Beach Gardens; and

(iii) the fast lane of Castle Peak Road eastbound near Greenview Terrace.

(2) The right turning movement from Hoi On Road westbound near Bayview Garden onto Castle Peak Road eastbound near Greenview Terrace will be temporarily banned to all vehicles. Affected motorists are advised to travel via Castle Peak Road westbound, turn around at Ting Kau Roundabout and Castle Peak Road eastbound.

          During the period of the above road closure, the section of Castle Peak Road westbound between Hoi On Road and Long Beach Gardens will be converted to two-way traffic. 

          Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.  Affected motorists are advised to drive with utmost care and patience.
