TRAFFIC ADVICE

Temporary Traffic Arrangements in Western District

  

Motorist are advised that the following temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented from 10.00 pm on 11 May 2013 and 18 May 2013 to 6.00 am of the following day to facilitate the anti-skid works:

 

(I)  Lane Closure

 

The fast lane of Bonham Road (westbound) outside the University of Hong Kong (HKU) East Gate will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.

 

(II)  Banning of Right Turning Movement

 

(i)   Vehicles on HKU slip road (northbound) will be prohibited from making right turn onto Bonham Road (eastbound); and

 

(ii)   Vehicles on Hing Hon Road (southbound) will be prohibited from making right turn onto Bonham Road (westbound).

 

(III)  Traffic Diversion

 

(i)   Vehicles on HKU slip road (northbound) heading for Bonham Road will be diverted via Bonham Road (westbound), Pok Fu Lam Road (westbound), Pokfield Road Bus Terminus U-Turn, Pok Fu Lam Road (eastbound) and Bonham Road (eastbound); and

 

(ii)   Vehicles on Hing Hon Road (southbound) heading for Bonham Road will be diverted via Bonham Road (eastbound), Park Road, Babington Path, Honiton Road and Bonham Road (westbound).

 

Appropriate traffic signs will be provided on site to guide motorists.
