ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (Chapter  374)

Temporary Restricted Zone on Hoi Fung Path & Stanley Link Road, Stanley

         In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10:00 am on 22 July 2013 to 6.00 pm on 3 August 2013, the following road sections in Stanley will be temporarily designated as restricted zones from 7:00 am  to 7:00 pm  daily:

• (a) The section of Hoi Fung Path from a point about 30 metres north of its junction with Stanley Link Road to a point about 30 metres south of the same junction;
• (b) The section of Stanley Link Road from its junction with Hoi Fung Path to a point about 30 metres east of the same junction

Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

(a)      picking up or setting down passengers; or

(b)      loading or unloading goods.

           The extent of the restricted zone will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.
