Traffic Advice
Temporary Closure of Hang Hau Road, Tseung Kwan O
Members of public are advised that in order to facilitate road works, temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented from 12.30 am to 5.30 am on 21 July 2013 as follows:
Hang Hau Road northbound will be closed to all vehicular traffic (except for emergency vehicles only).
- (II) Temporary Traffic Diversion
During the above road closure, the following traffic arrangement and diversion will be implemented:
- (a) motorists who drive vehicles not exceeding 12 metres in length on Po Ning Road or Chiu Shun Road heading for Clear Water Bay Road, Silverstrand Beach Road or access to Tseung Kwan O Hospital and the vicinity of Hang Hau Road via Hang Hau Road southbound will be diverted via Po Ning Road, Ying Yip Road to Clear Water Bay Road, Silverstrand Beach Road or Hang Hau Road southbound; and
- (b) motorists of vehicles exceeding 12 metres in length, who wish to go to Clear Water Bay Road or Silverstrand Beach Road via Hang Hau Road, or access to Hang Hau Road from Po Ning Road and Chiu Shun Road, are reminded to reach their destinations before the road closure.
- (III) Public Transport Arrangement
During the above closure, the following GMB services will be diverted via Ying Yip Road and then resume their normal routeings:
- (a) N.T. GMB Route No. 101M (Sai Kung bound); and
- (b) N.T. GMB Route No. 11 and 11S (Choi Hung Station bound).
Appropriate temporary traffic signs will be provided on site to guide motorists. Public transport operators will also display notices to notify passengers of the temporary arrangements.
