Opening of Tuen Mun Road Bus-Bus Interchange (Tuen Mun Bound)

Members of pubic are advised that Tuen Mun Road Bus-Bus Interchange (Tuen Mun bound) (the "BBI"), which is located near Tai Lam Kok in Tuen Mun, will be commissioned on 27 July 2013 (Sat).

The BBI provides a convenient interchanging facility for residents in Tuen Mun and along Castle Peak Road. Bus passengers can interchange bus services at the BBI to travel to Tuen Mun or Yuen Long Districts.

A total of nine short-haul and seven long-haul bus routes will start calling at the BBI upon its commissioning.  The routes include:

(I) Short-haul Routes

(1) 53 (Yuen Long (East) - Tsuen Wan West Station Public Transport Interchange)

(2) 57M (Shan King Estate - Lai King (North))

(3) 58M/58P (Leung King Estate/Tin King Estate - Kwai Fong Station)

(4) 59M (Tuen Mun Pier Head - Tsuen Wan Station)

(5) 60M (Tuen Mun Central - Tsuen Wan Station)

(6) 61M (Yau Oi (South) - Lai King (North))

(7) 66M/66P (Tai Hing - Tsuen Wan Station)

(8) 67M (Siu Hong Court - Kwai Fong Station)

(9) 68A (Long Ping Estate - Tsing Yi Station)

(II) Long-haul Routes

(1) 52X (Tuen Mun Central - Mong Kok (Park Avenue)

(2) 60X (Tuen Mun Central - Jordan (To Wah Road))

(3) 61X (Tuen Mun Station - Kowloon City Ferry)

(4) 259D (Lung Mun Oasis - Yau Tong)

(5) 260X (Po Tin - Hung Hom Station)

(6) 263 (Tuen Mun Station - Sha Tin Station)

(7) E33 (Tuen Mun Central - Airport (Ground Transportation Centre)

Passengers heading towards Tuen Mun or Yuen Long by making interchange between short-haul routes and long-haul routes at the BBI will enjoy free interchange or only be charged the fare difference between the routes concerned*. Bus company has already provided bus route information at the BBI to advise passengers of the bus interchange arrangements.
