Special Traffic and Transport Arrangements in Tuen Mun
for Tuen Mun Beach Festival 2013
To facilitate Tuen Mun Beach Festival 2013, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented in Tuen Mun during the following specified periods on 24 November 2013 (Sunday):
I. Temporary Traffic Arrangement
(A) From 1.30 pm to 9.30 pm

Golden Beach Path will be intermittently closed, except for police vehicles and vehicles permitted by police on site. All vehicles on Golden Beach Path will be temporarily banned from turning right onto Castle Peak Road - Castle Peak Bay eastbound. |
(B) From 3.00 pm to 7.00 pm

The general lay-by on Golden Beach Path opposite to Hong Kong Gold Coast Hotel will be temporarily converted to a bus stop for MTR feeder buses. Motorists are advised to use the general lay-by on Golden Beach Path near the changing room of Golden Beach. |
(C) From 7.00 pm to 9.30 pm

II. Temporary Public Transport Arrangement
To cater for the passenger demand, special services of MTR feeder route K51 (Fu Tai - Tai Lam) will be provided and the details are as follows:
(A) From 3.00 pm to 7.00 pm

about 10 minutes (may be adjusted subject to passenger demand) |

Golden Beach to Tuen Mun Station PTI (single bound) |

about 5 to10 minutes (may be adjusted subject to passenger demand) |

Fare: |
$4.1 (free interchange with West Rail Line/ Light Rail) |
Police officers will be on site to guide motorists and make flexible road closure arrangements whenever necessary during the festival. Notices will be put up at the terminal points and the concerned stops of the above special bus service to advise passengers of the temporary public transport arrangements.
