Special Traffic Arrangements in the vicinity of Yaumatei Wholesale Fruit Market

     To facilitate the holding of a public event at Reclamation Street in Yau Ma Tei, the following special traffic arrangements will be implemented in the vicinity of Yaumatei Wholesale Fruit Market from 12.00 noon  to 11.00 p.m. on 1 December 2013:-

1. Temporary Traffic Lanes Closure

     The slow and middle lanes of Reclamation Street northbound between Tung Kun Street and Waterloo Road will be temporarily closed to all traffic. The fast lane will be maintained for traffic.

2. Temporary Road Closures

     The following road sections will be temporarily closed to all traffic during the above period:-

• (i) The section of Shek Lung Street outside the Yaumatei Wholesale Fruit Market (the road section west of its junction with Reclamation Street); and
• (ii) The unnamed road between Ching Ping Street and Reclamation Street.

     Appropriate traffic aids will be put up to guide motorists. Motorists are advised that strict enforcement action will be taken against illegally stopped vehicles and no warning will be given prior to Police enforcement action.
