TRAFFIC ADVICE 

Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on King’s Road, North Point

 

Members of the public are advised that to facilitate emergency concrete carriageway repairing work, the following special traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented on King’s Road between 8.00 pm and 6.00 am of the following day on 4 January 2015 (Sunday) and on 11 January 2015 (Sunday):

 

I.              Traffic Arrangements

 

The section of King’s Road eastbound between Shu Kuk Street and Kam Hong Street will be closed temporarily. Vehicles on King’s Road eastbound will be diverted via Shu Kuk Street, Java Road, Kam Hong Street and King’s Road eastbound.

 

II.            Public Transport Arrangements

 

(a)          The bus stop of cross harbour routes no. 307P, 601, 619, 671, 680, 690, 692, N619, N680 and N691 on King’s Road eastbound outside Sun Beam Theatre will be temporarily relocated for about 30 metres backward to King’s Road eastbound outside Kiu Kwan Mansion; and

(b)          The bus stop of NWFB routes no. 2, 2A, 18, 81 and N8 and CTB routes no. 8X, 19, 77, 85P, 99, N8X and N72 on King’s Road eastbound near Kam Hong Street will be temporarily relocated for about 110 metres forward to King’s Road eastbound outside North Point Industrial Building.

 

Appropriate traffic signs will be provided on site to guide motorists. Motorists are advised not to drive to the affected areas. The bus companies will display notices at the above stops to advise passengers of the above temporary arrangements.
