Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on Fung Shue Wo Road Roundabout, Tsing Yi

       Members of the public are advised that to facilitate road works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented in Tsing Yi from 9.30 p.m. to 5.00 a.m. on the following day on 30 January and 3 February 2015:

(A)   Road Closure

All vehicles on Fung Shue Wo Road roundabout will be temporarily banned from going straight onto Tsing King Road northbound.

(B)   Traffic Diversion

Affected motorists will be diverted to travel via Fung Shue Wo Road roundabout, Fung Shue Wo Road westbound, Tsing Yip Street eastbound, Tsing Luk Street eastbound and Tsing King Road northbound.

(C)  Public Transport Arrangements

I. Bus and GMB Route Diversions

1. KMB Route No. 41A (Cheung On bound) will be diverted to operate via Fung Shue Wo Road roundabout and Fung Shue Wo Road westbound before resuming its normal routeing.

2. KMB Route No. 44 (Tsing Yi Estate bound) will be diverted to operate via Fung Shue Wo Road westbound, Fung Shue Wo roundabout, Fung Shue Wo Road westbound, Tsing Yip Street eastbound and Tsing Luk Street southbound before resuming its normal routeing.

3. KMB Route No. 249M (Tsing Yi Station bound) will be diverted to operate via Fung Shue Wo Road roundabout, Fung Shue Wo Road westbound, Tsing Yip Street eastbound, Tsing Luk Street eastbound and Tsing King Road northbound before resuming its normal routeing.

4. GMB Route No. 88D (Tivoli Garden bound) will be diverted to operate via Fung Shue Wo Road roundabout, Fung Shue Wo Road westbound, Tsing Yip Street eastbound, Tsing Luk Street eastbound and Tsing King Road northbound before resuming its normal routeing.

5. GMB Route Nos. 409 and 409K (Cheung Hang bound) will be diverted to operate via Tsing King Road southbound, Tsing Luk Street westbound, Tsing Luk Street northbound, Tsing Luk Street roundabout, Tsing Luk Street southbound, Tsing Yip Street westbound, Fung Shue Wo Road northbound before resuming its normal routeing.

II. Bus and GMB Stop Arrangements

1. The existing bus stops for KMB Route No. 41A (Cheung On bound) on Tsing King Road northbound outside Tsing Yi Market and Tsing Luk Street northbound outside Tsing Yi Estate Bus Terminus will be temporarily suspended.

2. The existing bus stop for KMB Route Nos. 44 (Tsing Yi Estate bound), 249M (Tsing Yi Station bound) on Tsing King Road northbound outside Tsing Yi Market will be temporarily suspended.

3. The existing stop for GMB Route No. 88D (Tivoli Garden bound) on Tsing King Road northbound outside Tsing Yi Market will be temporarily suspended.

4. The existing stops for GMB Route Nos. 409 and 409K (Cheung Hang bound) on Tsing King Road southbound outside Tivoli Garden and Tsing King Road northbound outside Tsing Yi Market will be temporarily suspended. Temporary stop will be designated on Tsing King Road southbound opposite Po Leung Kuk Castar Primary School.

Motorists are advised to drive with utmost care with utmost care and patience. Appropriate traffic signs will be erected to guide motorists.
