ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374)

Restricted Zone in Tang Lung Street, Causeway Bay

In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on  24 January 2016, the western kerbside lane of Tang Lung Street from a point about 5 metres south of its junction with Hennessy Road to a point about 35 metres south of the same junction will be designated as a restricted zone from 7.00 am to 7.00 pm daily.

Within the above restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

(a)          picking up or setting down passengers; or

(b)          loading or unloading goods.

The extent of the restricted zone will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.
