Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on

Wong Nai Chung Gap Flyover, Happy Valley

Members of the public are advised that to facilitate road resurfacing works, temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented from 1.00 am to 5.00 am on 23 September 2016 as follows:

(I) Road Closure

The slip road leading from Wong Nai Chung Gap flyover northbound to Wong Nai Chung Road northbound will be closed to all vehicular traffic.

(II) Temporary Traffic Diversion

During the above road closure, the following temporary traffic arrangement and diversion will be implemented:

(a) Vehicles on Wong Nai Chung Gap flyover northbound heading for Queen's Road East are diverted onto Canal Road flyover northbound, Gloucester Road eastbound, Victoria Park Road eastbound, Victoria Park Road flyover, Gloucester Road westbound, Canal Road flyover southbound, Canal Road East and Wong Nai Chung Road southbound; and

(b) Vehicles on Wong Nai Chung Gap flyover northbound heading for Morrison Hill Road northbound are diverted onto Canal Road flyover northbound, Gloucester Road eastbound, Victoria Park Road eastbound, Victoria Park Road flyover, Gloucester Road westbound, Canal Road flyover southbound, Canal Road East and Leighton Road westbound.

(III) Public Transport Arrangements

(a) The following bus and green minibus (GMB) services will be temporarily diverted:

XHT N171	To Lai Chi Kok	via Canal Road flyover northbound, Gloucester Road eastbound, Victoria Park Road eastbound, Victoria Park Road flyover, Gloucester Road westbound, Canal Road flyover southbound, Canal Road East, U-turn, Canal Road West and then resume its normal routing.
CTB N90	To Central	via Canal Road flyover northbound, Gloucester Road westbound, Gloucester Road service road westbound, Fenwick Street, Hennessy Road westbound and then resume its normal routing.
GMB 4A and 4C	To Causeway Bay	via Canal Road flyover northbound, Gloucester Road eastbound, Victoria Park Road eastbound, Victoria Park Road flyover, Gloucester Road westbound, Percival Street, Lockhart Road eastbound and then resume their normal routings.
GMB 40	To Causeway Bay	via Canal Road flyover northbound, Gloucester Road eastbound, Victoria Park Road eastbound, Wing Hing Street, King's Road southbound, Causeway Road westbound, Irving Street, Pennington Street and then resume its normal routing.
GMB 36A	To Wan Chai	via Canal Road flyover northbound, Gloucester Road westbound, Gloucester Road service road westbound, Luard Road southbound, Jaffe Road, O'Brien Road, Lockhart Road eastbound, Stewart Road southbound and then resume its normal routing.

(b) The following bus and GMB stops will be suspended or temporarily provided in connection with the diversion:

Appropriate traffic signs will be erected to guide motorists. Public transport operators will also display notices to notify passengers of the above temporary arrangements.
