Temporary Road Closures in Kowloon City

Motorists are advised that to facilitate road works, the following road sections in Kowloon City will be temporarily closed to all traffic from 1.00 am to 5.00 am on 6 November 2016:

(a)    the 2nd and 3rd lanes of Ma Tau Chung Road northbound from a point about 30 metres south of its junction with Fu Ning Street to a point about 80 metres south of the same junction;

(b)   the 4th  and 5th lanes of Sung Wong Toi Road between Pak Tai Street and Ma Tau Chung Road;

(c)    the flyover (including the at-grade road at the middle section) linking Ma Tau Chung Road northbound and Prince Edward Road East eastbound;

(d)   the slip road (down ramp) leading from the flyover (linking Ma Tau Chung Road northbound and Prince Edward Road East eastbound) to the right lane of Choi Hung Road northbound; and

(e)    the 2nd and 3rd lanes of Prince Edward Road East eastbound from a point about 120 metres west of its junction with King Hong Street to a point about 140 metres east of the same junction.

Motorists on Ma Tau Chung Road northbound heading to Wong Tai Sin/San Po Kong will be diverted to route via the 1st/2nd lane of Ma Tau Chung Road northbound, Kowloon City Interchange, Prince Edward Road West eastbound, Prince Edward Road East eastbound and Choi Hung Road.  Also, motorists on Ma Tau Chung Road northbound heading to Sai Kung/Kwun Tong will be diverted to route via the 1st /2nd lanes of Ma Tau Chung Road northbound, Kowloon City Interchange, Prince Edward Road West eastbound and Prince Edward Road East eastbound.

Appropriate traffic signs will be provided on site to guide motorists.
