Traffic Advice

 

Temporary Traffic Arrangements on Tai Tong Road, Yuen Long

 

Motorists are advised that in order to facilitate road maintenance works, the following temporary traffic arrangement will be implemented between 9.00 p.m. and 6.00 a.m. of the following day on 2, 6-8, 14-15 March 2017.

 

(A)        Between 9.00 p.m. and 6.00 a.m. of the following day on 2, 7 and 14 March 2017:

 

(I)        Lane Closure

 

The northbound carriageway of Tai Tong Road between Ma Tong Road and Shap Pat Heung Road will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.

 

           (II)       Traffic Diversion

 

(a)    Motorists on Shap Pat Heung Road eastbound and Tai Tong Road northbound heading to Tai Tong Road northbound will be affected. Affected motorists are advised to travel via Fung Ki Road northbound, Ma Tong Road westbound and back to Tai Tong Road; and

(b)   Motorists on Shap Pat Heung Road westbound heading to Tai Tong Road northbound will be affected. Affected motorists are advised to travel via Yuen Long Tai Yuk Road northbound, Ma Tin Road eastbound, Ma Tong Road eastbound and back to Tai Tong Road.

 

(III)       Public Transport Services Arrangements

 

(a)    Hang Heung Cake Shop Bus Stop on Tai Tong Road northbound for MTR bus route no. K66 (Long Ping – Tai Tong) will be temporarily suspended.

 

(B)        Between 9.00 p.m. and 6.00 a.m. of the following day on 6, 8 and 15 March 2017:

 

(I)          Lane Closure

 

The southbound carriageway of Tai Tong Road between Ma Tong Road and Shap Pat Heung Road will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.

 

           (II)       Traffic Diversion

 

(a)    Motorists on Ma Tong Road heading to Tai Tong Road southbound will be affected. Affected motorists are advised to travel via Tai Tong Road northbound, Hop Yick Road eastbound, Fung Cheung Road southbound, Fung Ki Road southbound, Shap Pat Heung Road westbound and back to Tai Tong Road; and

(b)   Motorists on Tai Tong Road southbound heading to Tai Tong Road southbound will be affected. Affected motorists are advised to travel via Ma Tong Road eastbound, Fung Ki Road southbound, Shap Pat Heung Road westbound and back to Tai Tong Road.

 

Appropriate temporary traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. The public transport operators will display notices at the stops and inside vehicle compartments to advise passengers of the above temporary arrangements.
