ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS
(CAP.374 SUB. LEG. G)

Extension of Temporary Learner Drivers Prohibited Zones on Austin Road
West and Lin Cheung Road, Tsim Sha Tsui

     In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations (Cap. 374 Sub. Leg. G), I hereby direct that with effect from 1 April 2018 to 30 September 2018, the following sections of roads will continue to be designated as learner drivers prohibited zones 24 hours daily. -

     (a) Austin Road West eastbound from its junction with Nga Cheung Road Flyover, via Austin Road West underpass, to a point about 65 metres west of its junction with Canton Road;
     (b) From a point about 100 metres west of the junction of Austin Road West westbound and Canton Road, via Austin Road West underpass, to its junction with Nga Cheung Road Flyover;
     (c) From Austin Road West underpass westbound to Lin Cheung Road underpass northbound; and
     (d) From Lin Cheung Road underpass southbound to Austin Road West underpass eastbound. 

     Learner drivers, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from driving any vehicles into the prohibited zone 24 hours daily.

     The extent of the prohibited zones has been indicated by appropriate traffic signs.
