Traffic Advice
Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangement on Tai Kei Leng Road, Yuen Long
Motorists are advised that to facilitate maintenance works at Tai Kei Leng Road in Yuen Long, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented during the time periods specified below:
(A) From 9.00 p.m. on 17 May 2018 to 6.00 a.m. of the following day
(I) Lane Closure and Banning of Turning Movement
The westbound carriageway of Tai Kei Leng Road between Tai Shu Ha Road West and Tai Tong Road will be closed to all vehicular traffic. All vehicles on Tai Kei Leng Road will be prohibited from turning onto Tai Tong Road.
(II) Traffic Diversion
Affected motorists on Tai Kei Leng Road westbound heading to Tai Tong Road will be diverted via Tai Shu Ha Road East southbound and Tai Shu Ha Road West northbound.
(III) Diversion of Green Minibus (GMB) Service
GMB route no. 73 (Long Ping Station bound) on Tai Kei Leng Road westbound heading to Tai Tong Road will be diverted to operate via Tai Shu Ha Road East southbound and Tai Shu Ha Road West northbound before resuming its normal routing.
(B) From 9.00 p.m. on 18 May 2018 to 6.00 a.m. of the following day
(I) Lane Closure and Banning of Turning Movement
The eastbound carriageway of Tai Kei Leng Road between Tai Shu Ha Road West and Tai Tong Road will be closed to all vehicular traffic. All vehicles on Tai Tong Road will be prohibited from turning onto Tai Kei Leng Road.
(II) Traffic Diversion
(a) Affected motorists on Tai Tong Road northbound heading to Tai Kei Leng Road eastbound will be diverted via Tai Tong Road northbound, Shap Pat Heung Road eastbound and Shap Pat Heung Interchange; and
(b) Affected motorists on Tai Tong Road southbound heading to Tai Kei Leng Road eastbound will be diverted via Tai Tong Road southbound and Tai Shu Ha Road East southbound.
Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. Advance notices will be displayed by GMB operator on board to inform passengers of the above arrangements.
