ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS
(CHAPTER 374 SUB. LEG. G)

Temporary Restricted Zones in To Kwa Wan

     In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374 sub. leg. G, I hereby direct that with effect from 15 July 2018 to 30 September 2018, the following road sections in To Kwa Wan will be temporarily designated as restricted zone 24 hours daily:

     (a) the eastern kerbside lane of Maidstone Road from a point about 10 meters north of its junction with Kiang Su Street to a point about 15 meters south of the same junction; 
     (b) the section of Kiang Su Street between Ma Tau Wai Road (northbound) and Maidstone Road;
     (c) the western kerbside lane of Ma Tau Wai Road (northbound) from a point about 20 metres south of its junction with Anhui Street to a point about 130 metres north of its junction with Lok Shan Road; 
     (d) the section of Chi Kiang Street between Ma Tau Wai Road (southbound) and Ha Heung Road; and 
     (e) The eastern kerbside lane of Maidstone Road from a point about 5 metres north of its junction with Lok Shan Road to a point about 30 metres south of the same junction.

     Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

     (a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
     (b) loading or unloading goods.

     The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

     At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be temporarily rescinded.
