ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (Chapter 374 SUB. LEG. G)

Restricted Zones on Shui Chuen Au Street and Pok Chuen Street, Sha Tin

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374 sub. leg. G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 24 August 2018, the following road sections will be designated restricted zones 24 hours daily:

(i)  the western kerbside lane of Shui Chuen Au Street between Yat Tai Street and the unnamed access road leading from Shui Chuen Au Street to Pok Hong Estate; and

(ii)  the western kerbside lane of Shui Chuen Au Street between the unnamed access road leading from Shui Chuen Au Street to Pok Hong Estate and the Pok Chuen Street; and

(iii)  the southern kerbside lane of Pok Chuen Street from its junction with Shui Chuen Au Street to a point about 72 metres east of the same junction; and

(iv)  the southern kerbside lane of Pok Chuen Street form its junction with unnamed road to a point about 46 metres north of the same junction; and

(v)  the eastern kerbside lane of Shui Chuen Au Street between Yai Tai Street and Yiu Wai Street; and

(vi)  the eastern kerbside lane of Shui Chuen Au Street between Yiu Wai Street and Pok Chuen Street ; and

(vii)  the northern kerbside lane of Pok Chuen Street from its junction with Shui Chuen Au Street to a point about 188 metres north of the same junction.

        Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

(i)  picking up or setting down passengers; or

(ii)  loading or unloading goods.

        The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.
