ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374)

Restricted Zone on Pok Fu Lam Road, Southern District

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 10 August 2018, the section of the southernmost slip road leading from Pok Fu Lam Road to Queen Mary Hospital from a point about 35 metres east from its junction with Pok Fu Lam Road to a point about 80 metres east of the same junction will be designated as restricted zone 24 hours daily.

        Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

        (a)  picking up or setting down passengers; or

        (b)  loading or unloading goods.

        The extent of the restricted zone will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

        At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road section will be rescinded.
