Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations (Chapter 374)

Restricted Zones in Wang Wo Tsai Street and Yeung Uk Road, Tsuen Wan

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 9.00 a.m. on 10 August 2018, the following road sections in Tsuen Wan will be designated restricted zones 24 hours daily:

(a) the eastern kerbside lane of Wang Wo Tsai Street from its junction with Yeung Uk Road to a point about 20 metres north of the same junction;

(b) the western kerbside lane of Wang Wo Tsai Street from its junction with Yeung Uk Road to a point about 30 metres north of the same junction;

(c) the northern kerbside lane of Yeung Uk Road from its junction with Wang Wo Tsai Street to a point about 15 metres east of the same junction; and

(d) the northern kerbside lane of Yeung Uk Road from its junction with Wang Wo Tsai Street to a point about 15 metres west of the same junction.

        Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or

(b) loading or unloading goods.

        The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.
