ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374)

Extension of Temporary Restricted Zones on Waterloo Road, Kowloon City

　　In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from  6 September 2018 to 5 March 2019, the following road sections on Waterloo Road will continue to be temporarily designated restricted zones during the time periods specified below:-

　　(a) From 7.00 am to 7.00 pm daily

The eastern kerbside lane of Waterloo Road from a point about 30 metres south of its junction with Argyle Street to a point about 90 metres south of the same junction.

(b) From 7.00 am to 12.00 midnight daily

　　The eastern kerbside lane of Waterloo Road from a point about 90 metres south of its junction with Argyle Street to a point about 110 metres south of the same junction.

　　Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

(a)    picking up or setting down passengers; or
(b)   loading or unloading goods.

　　The extent of the restricted zones has been indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

　　At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will continue to be temporarily rescinded.
