Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations (Chapter 374)

Restricted Zones in Tai Ho Road, Tsuen Wan

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 14 September 2018 the following road sections in Tsuen Wan will be designated restricted zones 24 hours daily.

(a) Both kerbside lanes of the southbound slip road connecting the temporary carpark underneath Tsuen Wan Road from its junction with an unnamed road section south of TW5 Cityside Development connecting Tai Ho Road, to a point about 50 metres west of the same junction ;

(b) Both kerbside lanes of an unnamed road section south of TW5 Cityside Development connecting Tai Ho Road with its junction with Tai Ho Road, to a point about 160 metres west of the same junction ;

(c) Both kerbside lanes of an unnamed road section east of Clague Garden Estate connecting Hoi Kwai Road from its junction with Hoi Kwai Road, to a point about 90 metres south of the same junction ; and

(d) Both kerbside lanes of an unnamed road section south of Skyline Plaza connecting Tai Ho Road from its junction with Tai Ho Road, to a point about 130 metres west of the same junction.

        Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses at designated bus stops and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or

(b) loading or unloading goods.

        The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.
