ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS
(CHAPTER 374)

Restricted Zones on Wui Man Road and Wui Cheung Road, Yau Ma Tei

　　In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 pm on 22 September 2018, the following road sections in Yau Ma Tei will be designated as restricted zones specified below:-

I.  　Restricted zones from 7.00 am to 12.00 midnight daily

(a) the western kerbside lane of Wui Man Road (northbound) from its junction with Wui Man Road (southbound) to its junction with Wui Cheung Road;

(b) the western kerbside lane of Wui Man Road (northbound) from its junction with Wui Cheung Road to its junction with Jordan Road (except lay-by);

(c) the southern kerbside lane of Wui Cheung Road (westbound) from a point about 45 metres west of its section with Canton Road to its junction with Wui Man Road;

(d) the northern kerbside lane of Wui Cheung Road (eastbound) from a point about 45 metres west of its section with Canton Road to its junction with Wui Man Road; and

(e) the eastern kerbside lane of Wui Man Road (southbound) from a point about 45 metres south of its junction with Jordan Road to its junction with Wui Cheung Road.

II.  Restricted zones 24 hours daily

(a) the eastern kerbside lane of Wui Man Road (southbound) from its junction with Wui Cheung Road to a point about 110 metres south of the same junction;

(b) the southern kerbside lane of Wui Man Road (northbound) from its junction with Wui Man Road (southbound) leading to the bus pick-up/drop-off area on Wui Man Road (northbound) to a point about 30 metres west of the same junction; and

(c) the western kerbside lane of Wui Man Road (northbound) from a point about 30 metres west of its junction with Wui Man Road (southbound) leading to the bus pick-up/drop-off area on Wui Man Road (northbound) to a point about 130 metres north of the same junction (except bus pick-up/drop-off).

III. 　Bus restricted zone 24 hours daily

(a) the lay-by on Wui Man Road (northbound) from a point about 40 metres north of its junction with Wui Cheung Road (westbound) to a point about 50 metres south of its junction with Jordan Road.

　　Within the restricted zones, drivers except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:-

(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
(b) loading or unloading goods.

　　The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

　　At the same time, the exiting restricted zones on the above road sections gazetted on 15 June 2018 under G.N. 4458 and 17 August 2018 under G.N. 6166 will be rescinded.
