Temporary Traffic Arrangements in Pak Shek Kok, Tai Po
to Facilitate the Cycling Race

　　Notice is hereby given that to facilitate the Cycling Race, the following temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented from 5.00 am to 11.00 am on 9 December 2018 (Sunday):

　　(I)   Road Closure

The following road sections will be temporarily closed:

1. the section of Chong San Road southbound between Fo Yin Road and Science Park Road;

2. the section of Fo Yin Road westbound between Science Park East Avenue and Chong San Road; and

3. the section of Science Park West Avenue northbound between Science Park Road and Fo Yin Road.

　　(II)  Traffic Diversion

During the road closure period, vehicles on Chong San Road southbound heading for Science Park Road will be diverted via Fo Yin Road eastbound and Science Park East Avenue southbound.

　　(III) Public Transport Services Arrangements

1. KMB routes no. 74D (Kau Lung Hang - Kwun Tong Ferry), 272A (University Station - Pak Shek Kok (circular)) and 272K (University Station - Hong Kong Science Park (circular)) will be diverted and some of the en-route stops along Chong San Road southbound will be suspended.

2. GMB route no. 27 (Hong Kong Science Park - Sha Tin (Pai Tau Street)) will be diverted and all en-route stops along Science Park West Avenue northbound will be suspended.

3. GMB route no. 27A (Pak Shek Kok (Providence Bay) - Sha Tin (Pai Tau Street)) and GMB route no. 27B (Pak Shek Kok (Providence Bay) - Sha Tin (Pai Tau Street) via University Station) will be diverted and some of the en-route stops along Chong San Road southbound will be suspended.

　　Drivers of all motor vehicles, except emergency vehicles and those authorised by police officers on site, will be prohibited from driving into the above closed roads.

　　Appropriate traffic signs will be erected and police officers will be on site to guide the public.
