TRAFFIC ADVICE

Special Traffic Arrangements for a Public Procession
on Hong Kong Island on 16 December 2018

        Members of the public are advised that to facilitate a public procession to be held on Hong Kong Island on 16 December 2018 (Sunday), intermittent traffic lane closure of the following roads to all vehicular traffic will be implemented by the Police from about 1.30 pm onwards until the crowd is dispersed and traffic resumes normal:

(a)  Causeway Road westbound;

(b)  Leighton Road westbound;

(c)  Irving Street westbound;

(d)  Pennington Street northbound;

(e)  Jardine's  Bazaar;

(f)  Yee Wo Street westbound;

(g)  Hennessy Road westbound;

(h)  Queensway westbound;

(i)  Queen's Road Central westbound;

(j)  Bank Street; and

(k)  Dex Voeux Road Central.

        Vehicles may not be permitted to leave or access the car parks along the above closed road sections during the road closure period until the roads are re-opened to traffic.

        Actual implementation of the traffic lane closure and traffic control measures will be determined by the Police at the time depending on the prevailing circumstances in the area. Motorists are advised to exercise tolerance and patience in case of traffic congestion, and take heed given by the Police.
