ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374)
Restricted Zones in Hung Hom (Hung Luen Road)
Public Transport Interchange
In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 6.00 pm on 22 December 2018, the following road sections in Hung Hom (Hung Luen Road) Public Transport Interchange will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:-
(a) the eastern kerbside lane of Hung Hom (Hung Luen Road) Public Transport Interchange entry access road from a point about 4 metres south of its junction with Hung Luen Road to a point about 58 metres south of the same junction;
(b) the western kerbside lane of Hung Hom (Hung Luen Road) Public Transport Interchange egress access road from its junction with Hung Luen Road to a point about 53 metres south of the same junction;
(c) the northern kerbside lane of the carriageway for general vehicle from its northern junction with Hung Hom (Hung Luen Road) Public Transport Interchange egress access road to a point about 8 metres west of the same junction;
(d) the northern kerbside lane of the carriageway for general vehicle from a point about 53 metres west of its northern junction with Hung Hom (Hung Luen Road) Public Transport Interchange egress access road to a point about 114 metres west of the same junction;
(e) the northern kerbside lane of Hung Luen Road eastbound from a point about 11 metres west of its junction with Wa Shun Street to a point about 38 metres west of the same junction;
(f) the southern kerbside lane of Hung Luen Road westbound from its junction with Hung Hom (Hung Luen Road) Public Transport Interchange egress access road to a point about 20 metres west of the same junction;
(g) the southern kerbside lane of Hung Luen Road westbound from its junction with Hung Hom (Hung Luen Road) Public Transport Interchange entry access road to a point about 20 metres east of the same junction; and
(h) the western kerbside lane of Wa Shun Street from its junction with Hung Luen Road to a point about 8 metres south of the same junction.
Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:
(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
(b) loading or unloading goods.
The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.
